Neighbourhood Weekender

WHEN: Friday 3rd – Sunday 5th September 2021

WHERE: Victoria Park, Warrington

LINE-UP HIGHLIGHTS: Gerry Cinnamon, Pale Waves, Sam Fender, The Snuts, Catfish & The Bottlemen, The Wombats, The Pigeon Detectives and Bloxx.

Spread across 3 stages, Neighbourhood Weekender combines reality with the ridiculous. Pop into The Neighbourhood Inn for a pint or visit The Corner Shop for a DJ session where sweets, crisps and treats will be thrown at you. Head to The Library for a silent disco but sing too loudly and you may be asked to leave… Watch out for the giant pigeons that wander the streets and be sure to plan ahead as the construction workers will cause delays.

LINE-UP HIGHLIGHTS: Arrested Development, Basement Jaxx, Louie Vega, David Morales, DJ Spoony, Inner City and Mr G.

Known as the world’s friendliest party, this festival celebrates genres from US/Afro/Deep & Soulful House to Disco, Soul, UK Garage, RnB, Drum & Bass, Reggae and Hip Hop.

Isle of Wight Festival

WHERE: Seaclose Park, Newport

LINE-UP HIGHLIGHTS: Liam Gallagher, Tom Jones, You Me at Six, Snow Patrol, David Guetta, James Arthur, All Saints, Duran Duran, The Script, Scouting for Girls, Imelda May, Ella Henderson, Kaiser Chiefs and Razorlight.

This year’s theme is Peace, Love and Understanding and there’s even a Best Dressed Competition with the winner receiving an exclusive backstage tour and a champagne picnic. Dust off those rainbow tights and get creative with your outfits for this one!

Boundary Brighton

WHERE: Stanmer Park Local Nature Reserve

Celebrating their 5th anniversary, Boundary Festival is spread across 3 stages, with a 4th VIP stage introduced this year, and brings together the very best artists from drum & bass, electronic and house genres.

EFG London Jazz Festival

WHEN: Friday 12th – Sunday 21st November 2021

WHERE: Multiple venues across London

LINE-UP HIGHLIGHTS: Dave Holland & John Scofield, Cleveland Watkiss & Django Bates, Shai Maestro and Avishai Cohen Trio & Nikki Yeoh’s Café Oran.

This festival is slightly different to the others on this list as it is a 10-day long schedule of performances across different venues throughout London. It’s the capital’s biggest pan-city music festival and widely acknowledged for delivering world-class artists and emerging stars.

Love Supreme Jazz Festival

WHEN: Friday 1st – Sunday 3rd July 2022

WHERE: Glynde Place, East Sussex

The line-up for 2022 is yet to be announced, but previous artists include:

Anita Baker, The Roots, TLC, Sister Sledge, Gladys Knight, The Cinematic Orchestra, Jamie Cullum, Mahalia and Earth, Wind & Fire.

The Guardian says: “A festival where music comes first.”

It’s the largest outdoor jazz festival in the whole of Europe and has a world class artist line up from jazz, RnB, funk, soul and many many more. Located in one of the UK’s most beautiful National Parks, this is a festival to get in your diary for 2022!
