The 5 Top Event Trends for 2024

The 2024 event season may have already kicked off, but with Spring round the corner and a Summer of events ahead of us, we’re giving you the lowdown on the top 5 event trends for 2024. Read on to discover what they are…

Balloon Decor

Balloons have certainly made a comeback throughout 2023, but for 2024 they’re going even bigger! Whether it’s a backdrop, an arch or a photo opportunity we expect to see more and more balloon installations at events this coming year. They’re fun, look great and can be personalised to match your colour scheme and theme!

Themed Parties

Whilst the majority of parties have a set colour scheme, some go one step further and have a theme throughout that ties together the décor, food and even entertainment. Guests may even be asked (or wish to) dress up to match the theme of the party. From tropical, Summer beach parties with colourful cocktails to a music-themed party with re-used records for table centrepieces and a live band; the options for what theme you choose is endless.

Nostalgia

Nostalgia is back! We’re talking retro, vintage, Polaroid vibes! Or even a 70s, 80s or 90s theme! Everyone loves to relive their youth, so take people back in time and enjoy what was back in the day! The best thing about this trend is that you can use it whether you’re celebrating your birthday, anniversary or even wedding.

Creative Food & Drink

Food and drink play such a big part in your event and often take centre stage, so why not make a spectacle of it and get creative! From food trucks to doughnut walls to bespoke dishes to match your theme; your guests will love the unique experience – they’ll be talking about your event for years to come!

Bright Colours

Bold is back! There has been an increase in bright, colourful events over the months and we expect this to remain a popular trend through 2024 with punchy colours taking centre stage when it comes to décor and theming.
