Spring Wedding Inspiration

Spring Wedding Inspiration

As soon as the weather begins to warm up and the signs of Spring appear, it signals the start of wedding season. Typically, weddings take place from April through to October as the weather tends to be nicer and people are more willing to venture out of their homes! Here at The Jazz Café, we have also seen the beginnings of wedding season with a couple of wedding receptions already taking place with us this month. So, as weddings start to fill our calendars, we thought now would be the perfect time to share some Spring wedding inspiration with you, especially if you are currently in the process of finalising your wedding décor.

Pastel Colours

As soon as Spring comes along, all the pretty pastel colours come out! Think pale pink, sage green, baby blue and hues of yellow…Colours are subtle, but work together beautifully due to their subdued tones, they will also work in a lot of different settings, whether you are getting married at a modern venue (like us) or a rustic, country barn.

Choose to create stunning pastel table centrepieces through floral arrangements and décor, or why not opt for a pastel colour scheme for the bridal party?

Spring Flowers

Flowers are always a huge part of anyone’s wedding day. From bouquets to button holes to table centre pieces, flowers are often what carry the colour scheme through the day. Spring is one of the best seasons for flowers as everything begins to bloom, so for a beautiful Spring wedding, why not make flowers your centrepiece?

We’ve seen many gorgeous floral centre pieces over the years at The Jazz Café, ranging from big bouquets to smaller mix & match sprigs in individual vases. With the vast range of Spring blooms on offer, there’s plenty of different varieties and colours to play with to create your perfect centre piece and bouquet!

Outdoor Ceremonies

Hello sunshine! Warm sunny days means outdoor ceremonies can return! There’s something truly romantic about saying “I do” outdoors surrounded by your loved ones. There’s plenty of Berkshire venues that offer this option, and then once the formalities are over, head to us for your wedding breakfast and reception!

If you are looking at getting married outdoors – don’t forget that floral arch…

Naked Cakes

A trend that has been taking the wedding industry by storm is the humble naked cake.

A naked cake is essentially a sponge cake that is very lightly covered with buttercream so that you can still see the sponge through it and beautifully decorated with flowers and fruit or left just as it is. Naked cakes are perfect for Spring weddings as they look very clean and simple, yet they can look stunning with the additional of flowers. Take a look at the images below for some inspiration!

Easter Elements

Easter is obviously a big part of the Spring time with bunnies, chicks and eggs being the main focus, so if you’re an Easter fanatic or getting married over the Easter weekend, why not make a sweet nod to this occasion?

Think Easter egg table favours, or a bunny element here and there. Not too much otherwise the theme will overpower your wedding and may feel like an Easter party, but if you love Easter why not incorporate it in your special day?
