Although not the nicest or easiest topic to talk about, our purpose for this blog post is to let you know that we’re here for you every step of the way when a loved one passes away.

You Can Count On Us
Organising a funeral for a loved one will undoubtedly be one of the hardest things you’ll ever have to do in your life and so we’d like to let you know we’re here to help and ease any stresses.
We’ve hosted many wakes and funeral receptions in our time and although it never gets any easier, we’ve certainly grown to know what helps our customers most when they’re grieving.
With us there’s no need to worry about menus, dietary requirements, or drinks – we can take care of all that for you. We have multiple menu choices for you to choose from and once you’ve chosen, we’ll do the rest and ensure your guests are well-fed. Our bar will be open from the minute you arrive allowing your guests to choose exactly what they want from our extensive drinks list. If you’d like to set up a tab, this is also easily done.
Little Extras
It’s the little things that often get forgotten, but don’t worry we’ve got a checklist specifically for you. If you’d like to display photos either around the room or using our projector and screen, we can arrange this for you at no additional charge. We can also help you put out floral arrangements or any other decorations you may wish to use to dress our venue. We also have speakers if you’d like to play background music and a microphone should you wish to make a speech.
And don’t forget we’ve got onsite complimentary car parking too which always makes things easier. If you have guests that have travelled afar and need somewhere to stay, the Voco Hotel offers guests of The Jazz Café a special discounted rate, please just let us know and we can put you in touch with the hotel to get your guests booked in.
