Award-winning hire software company, Point of Rental, have held their end of year party at The Jazz Café for the past couple of years and it’s our pleasure to welcome them back year on year.
Point of Rental choose to hire our venue in November for approximately 120 of their employees – it’s easier to get people together in November before the December / Christmas rush! This end of year party is to celebrate and recognise their employee’s hard work throughout the year and we feel honoured to be a part of that.
On arrival, the company arrange for a saxophonist to welcome their guests with some seriously funky tunes. We think this is such a fun way of kickstarting the evening and really sets the scene for a memorable night! As you can see from this photo, the saxophonist uses our stage area which is in the centre of the space making it ideal for everyone to enjoy the welcome and performance.
As Point of Rental’s party is quite informal, they like to opt for a hot buffet for their guests, rather than a more formal 3-course sit down meal. This company LOVE our Indian-style buffet, which is all cooked fresh from scratch in our kitchens, and for those that prefer less spicy food, we provide home-made lasagne with garlic bread and salad. Our food always goes down well with this group!
Finally, to entertain their guests, the company hires Blackjack and roulette tables which are provided by an external supplier. It’s always interesting for us as the venue to find out what companies do to bring the fun to the party and these casino tables are certainly always a favourite! Point of Rental have also chosen to come back to The Jazz Café this November and we can’t wait to welcome them back for another amazing party.
