Their research is based on search engine results (what couples are searching for online) and of course their own experience of being in the industry and what they are getting asked for in their respective services. 1. Wedding Dress Trends

There are a couple of different wedding dress trends set to be in fashion for 2026. The first is all about throwback designs including the bubble hem dress nostalgic of the early 2000s. After-party wedding dresses are also becoming more popular, with brides changing their looks from day to night. Statement veils are also having their own moment, as they’ve doubled in popularity.
2. Hyper-personalisation
Over the course of the last couple of years, even we’ve noticed the amount of weddings that are choosing to personalise their wedding days has grown, and it seems it’s only going to continue into 2026.
From wedding websites to on-the-day wedding newspapers detailing the agenda for the day, wedding stationery really has had a revamp and is trailblazing this fun wedding trend. Illustrated wedding stationery is up 22% with custom drawings and watercolours turn invites into keepsakes.

3. Interactive Wedding Entertainment
Wedding couples nowadays are prioritising the immersive experience of their wedding day and are certainly choosing to spend a healthy amount of their wedding budget on this element. Think casino tables. Audio guest books. And themed catering.
Audio guest books have seen a rise of 29% swapping pen and paper for verbal messages from wedding guests, whilst food trucks have increased by 50% offering a more informal, fresh, flexible way of catering.
4. Wedding Cake Trends

Retro wedding cakes were a huge trend of 2025, however they’re set to be even bigger for 2026. Whether it’s a single layer sheet cake or a wedding table adorned with desserts, these tasty beauties are certainly seeing a come back. Sheet cakes are up 29% as they are re-imagined as centrepieces and retro cakes up 23%.
5. Statement Table Styling
Wedding tables are no longer just somewhere to eat and drink. The way wedding couples are choosing to dress them really makes them the centrepiece of the whole room now. In contrast to 2025, pastel wedding florals are up 27% , whilst place settings are up 27% showing couples are getting creative and personal with their guests seats.
