Our first Christmas Party of the season kicked off in style here at The Jazz Café on Saturday 26th November. The Chain Gang were performing and the venue looked so festive dressed up in it’s Christmas decorations.
It’s always so exciting decorating the venue for Christmas for the first time, and of course we hung our signature disco balls and garland from the bar! Once the tables are laid and the band are set up on the stage, the venue really transforms and looks fab. The fairy lights reflecting off the instruments create a magical glow and you know that the evening is going to be a good one.
The first of the guests to arrive are those that are having dinner with us. In the background, there is music playing, and guests head to the bar to get their drinks. When you book dinner with us for our Christmas Parties, a festive 3 course meal is included, so you can be sure your energy levels are kept up for the rest of the evening’s entertainment.
Our Chef takes great pride in creating healthy, delicious food for our parties (well for all of our events) so whether you’re having turkey with all the trimmings or the mushroom, cranberry & brie wellington you can be sure you’ll enjoy a tasty, wholesome meal.
Once dinner service is over, it’s time to party! The Chain Gang were our first band to perform this Christmas season and they really did an incredible job. The Chain Gang are a 10-piece soul and funk band with an amazing brass section and plenty of vocals to go with it. They performed tracks from the soul legends but also sang modern hits putting their own twist on things to keep everyone dancing.
The Chain Gang will be back performing with us again in the New Year, however you’ve got performances from the Ultimate Party Band (tomorrow evening), The SoulTones (Friday 16th) and Madison Heights (Saturday 17th) that all still have space on, if you wish to book on.
Our bands often do 2 x 45 minute sets, and once they have finished their performance, our resident DJ will take you through to the early hours with all your favourite dancefloor tunes.
