New Bands Announced!

We’ve just finalised our line up for our Christmas Joiner Parties and we can’t wait to share it with you! With performances from our incredible regular bands, such as Madison Heights and The Chain Gang to new bands making their debut at The Jazz Café.

Saturday 26th November – The Chain Gang

The festive season kicks off with The Chain Gang. A fabulous 10-piece band with powerful female and male vocals, a funky rhythm section and plenty of brass. The Chain Gang have been performing at The Jazz Café for a number of years and their performances never fail to sell out.

They deliver soul, funk, disco and Motown classics from Al Green to Wilson Picket. We guarantee they’ll get you on the dancefloor!

Friday 2nd December – The Funky Funks

An energetic funk and disco band who have been together since 2009 and have travelled the world together. With a back line that’s on fire, and two powerful soul singers, this is a band not to be missed. Influences include Tina Turner, Amy Winehouse and Stevie Wonder.

Saturday 3rd December – The Chain Gang

Back for more, The Chain Gang will also be performing with us at the beginning of December.

Thursday 8th December – These Certain People

TCP are an established high energy successive crowd pleasing band with an unique and infectious performance style. These Certain People have played at and headlined at a number of festivals including the 40,000+ attendee two-day Henley Rewind Festival, FiFest, PennFest and boast a playlist devoid of clichés yet packed with favourites for all generations.

Friday 9th December – Sir Duke Disco & Party Band

Sir Duke are back with us this festive season and we are so excited to welcome them back on 9th December.

This fantastic band feature some of the most talented musicians in the South East. Sir Duke play a variety of music from disco, dance, soul & funk from the 70s right through to the present day.

Saturday 10th December – Dance Cult 10 Band

Dance Cult 10 Band are newcomers to The Jazz Café this Christmas but they’ve got quite a reputation.

They’re a dynamic 10-piece band with two amazing vocalists and a horn section to die for playing up-tempo dance, soul, funk and rock. Classic songs such as Stevie Wonder, Chic, Dee-Lite and Bruno Mars all receive the DC10’s unique treatment and will definitely get you up on the dancefloor.

Thursday 15th December – Ultimate Party Band

This band will wow you with their electrifying medleys of all your favourite party hits. Covering an array of floor filling tracks from the 80s through to the present day including rock, pop, funk and party hits.

Featuring a line up of quality, highly professional musicians and state of the art audio and lighting, this band have a client list that includes Reading FC, Vodafone and Royal Ascot Racecourse. Add a sprinkle of humour, audience interaction and bucket loads of energy, the Ultimate Party Band will definitely give you the ultimate party!

Friday 16th December – The SoulTones

Relive your disco days with The SoulTones! Back again this year, this 7-piece funk and soul party band deliver classic dancefloor hits from artists such as Chaka Khan, Shalamar, Chic and many more. Berkshire-based and born out of a love of playing music, The SoulTones are sure to get you in the festive spirit.

Friday 17th December – Madison Heights

Undoubtedly the most authentic Motown and soul band to hit the stage, Madison Heights deliver an energetic and exciting performance of classic hits by the legends of soul and Motown.

Formed in 2000 by musicians who love to get people up on the dancefloor, Madison Heights are inspired by the stage shows of the classic suited and booted Motown showbands and bring this to each of their performance.

The lineup has 4 vocalists, a brass section and a back line of guitar, bass guitar, drums and keyboards.
