Summer remains the most popular season to tie the knot, with beautiful weather, more time off and longer daylight hours, so let’s take a look at what’s currently trending in the world of summer weddings. Summer weddings have always been the brightest and remain so in 2026. Think fuchsia pinks, canary yellow, bright orange and a dash of olive. These colours are reflected in floral centrepieces, table linens and stationery. However, some wedding couples are still opting for a more pastel affair, with Bridgerton blue still being a huge hit and muted pinks. It should be noted though that these pastel colours are still being paired with other colours rather than one colour carrying the whole wedding solo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even if couples don’t choose personalised drinks, more and more are opting for cocktails such as Aperol Spritz and Espresso Martini for their wedding as they offer more excitement and flavour than a standard glass of Prosecco. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another trend appearing more and more is the use of long banquet tables. Previously seen as more anti-social, as guests aren’t able to talk as freely or easily as they would around individual round tables, long banquet tables are becoming the latest set up of choice. This style of table does lend itself well if you are choosing an outdoor, garden party-vibe, whereas in a lot of venues with indoor event space, like The Jazz Cafe, it does become a little trickier and it will also decrease your capacity. Many still choose this option, however some couples are seeking a more experience-driven wedding and are going in search of new, exciting ways to deliver their food to their guests. This could be outdoor pizza ovens, BBQs, street food, or even food trucks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
