January is quite often the month of reflection so perfect timing to take a look back at our most memorable events from 2025.
Royal Berks Charity Quiz Night – March 2025
First on our list is a fantastic night that took place back in March 2025 when the Royal Berks Charity hosted a quiz to raise money. The Royal Berks Charity supports the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust across Townlands Memorial Hospital, West Berks Community Hospital, Bracknell Healthspace, Dingley Children’s Centre, Prince Charles Eye Unit and Windsor Dialysis Unit and throughout these local communities. Their mission is to raise vital funds that enhance the care and experience of both patients and staff.
It was an amazing night of fundraising with all proceeds from the evening going to the patients and staff at the Royal Berkshire Hospital. Food was available to pre-order for those that wanted to have a bite to eat and there was plenty of friendly competition.
Reading Abbey RFC Awards Night – May 2025
We LOVE an awards night! On a lovely, warm May evening, Reading Abbey RFC turned The Jazz Cafe into a sea of pink, green and blue balloons – it was fabulous! The stage was set for an incredible night of awards, quite literally with multiple trophies to hand out, and everyone was dressed up in their finery for the occasion. There was food, drinks and plenty of fun!
Toni’s 60th Birthday Party – July 2025
Toni’s 60th birthday party in July was an elegant affair. Once again, The Jazz Cafe was decorated in a very formal, glitzy colour scheme of black and gold for the black tie event complete with LED light up “60”. The host provided drinks on the tables, a mixture of juice and wine, and of course there was plenty of food to go around too. Like any good party, the dancing continued into the early hours and we had such a blast hosting this one.
Wedding – September 2025
We couldn’t have a round-up of our most memorable events from 2025 without including a beautiful, pink wedding! It always amazes us when The Jazz Cafe is transformed for a wedding reception and this one from September is no exception.
The couple were lovely and we really went above and beyond to give them a wedding reception they won’t forget. Due to the privacy of the couple, we can’t share too many details, so please just enjoy these photos!
Esther’s 40th Birthday Party – October 2025
There was no way we could exclude this amazing birthday party from the round-up – the steel band alone deserves a mention!
The wall of photos was something we particularly loved from this birthday party alongside the fantastic photo opportunity set up complete with fancy backdrop. There were nibbles on the tables, the bar was open and of course there was birthday cake. Once the steel band started, the dancefloor was packed. It’s hard not to bop to this rhythm!
Foster Carers Award Dinner – November 2025
As we mentioned before, we LOVE an awards dinner. This one was a little less formal than Reading Abbey RFC’s night, but it was just as special.
We provided a delicious buffet which guests could help themselves to, our bar was stocked and open but there were also arrival drinks available for guests too. Each table had a beautiful bouquet of flowers in the centre and the buffet was decorated with a hot pink runner. It was a wonderful evening and we are so honoured to have been the chosen venue for this awards night.
