It may not be glistening quite yet, but there are certainly toys in every store, and soon there’ll be holly on your front door, so if you haven’t yet arranged your company get-together, or sent out that message in the group chat to your friends, let this be your reminder! Luckily for you, there are still a handful of tickets left to book on our upcoming Christmas party nights, but you’ll need to act quickly to secure your space.
Friday 28th November: Soul Glow & DJ Kofi
Our first Christmas party on Friday 28th November still has some spaces left and with entry-only tickets costing just £10 each, this party night is an absolute steal!
Soul Glow are one of Surrey’s finest party bands playing the very best in funk, soul and party anthems that are guaranteed to get you dancing. This is their first performance at The Jazz Cafe in Reading, however they come highly recommended with outstanding 5* reviews and a wealth of experience and professionalism. After their set, our resident DJ will be ready to continue the party with your favourite dancefloor fillers until the early hours of the morning. If you wish to dine with us before the band kicks off, your ticket will cost just £38.50 which includes a delicious, festive two course meal.
Saturday 29th November: The Chain Gang & DJ Kofi
The Chain Gang are no strangers to The Jazz Cafe stage here in Reading, and we gladly welcome them back each festive season because they are just SO good. An almighty 10-piece soul band, The Chain Gang are energetic, professional and extremely entertaining! Their repertoire spans soul, funk and disco music with tracks from legends such as Al Green, Wilson Picket, Beyonce and Pharrell Williams. These guys know how to pack a dancefloor, so you really don’t want to miss out this opportunity to see them perform.
Join us before the entertainment for a tasty, festive two course meal for £42.50 or come just for the party for an entry fee of £15! As always, DJ Kofi will be on hand to keep the dancefloor grooving until the small hours.
Friday 5th December: Sir Duke & DJ Kofi
Sir Duke, another regular band to us here at The Jazz Cafe, are back and performing on Friday 5th December. Formed in 2010, this incredible band are well-known for putting their take on classic disco and dance tracks by adding a brass licks to give them a punchier feel.
This group of like-minded professional musicians have an infectious passion for playing live music for everyone to enjoy and it’s no wonder our customers always have a great time when Sir Duke are on the stage. Once they’ve finished grooving, DJ Kofi will take over for the reminder of the party. Dinner tickets for this party night are priced at £56.50 which includes a three course meal, however if you just fancy turning up for the party, entry tickets are £15.
